Today is Day 15 of the Ultimate Blog Challenge, so I'm almost at the halfway point with 16 more posts to go. It seems like a good time to reflect on the last 15 days and ask my readers a question.
"Do you have any questions for me?"
For instance, you may want to know about exercises suitable for people over 60.
Would you like some ideas to combat chronic pain?
How do you get started in photography?
Which medium is the best for beginner Artists?
What sewing machine do you use?
Do you have recipes for meals for seniors?
These are all questions I've been asked over the last couple of years at shows and on Medium, where I also write.
The last 15 days (including today) have been difficult. I won't lie. Not because writing a blog a day is difficult but because I'm trying to fit it in around a lot of other responsibilities.
Getting this blog off the ground is important to me. I need to be my own boss and earn money in a way that works around my family commitments. This challenge needs to prove I can keep up, keep coming up with ideas for posts and provide value for my readers.
I've got a long way to go - this challenge is for 31 days, but I want to continue with three posts a week for the foreseeable future.
At the moment, I'm writing about my experience of being over 60, the things I enjoy and how I keep healthy both mentally and physically. But everyone has a different life experience, and I'd love to include other voices here.
My question for you is
"What are your experiences of being over 60 - what are the joys and challenges you're facing, and what would you find value in reading here?"
I look forward to hearing from you.
